Disc
Makers Opens New Offices in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area
PENNSAUKEN,
NJ - APRIL 5, 2005 - Disc
Makers, the nation's leading independent media manufacturer, is proud
to announce the opening of two new offices - Chicago and Berkeley
(California). The new offices offer places where local musicians and
filmmakers can come to discuss projects, get advice about manufacturing,
distribution, mastering, and design, and order the most popular CD
and DVD replication service in the country. Disc Makers currently
has storefronts in four other locations - New York City, Los Angeles,
Seattle, and Puerto Rico - in addition to its manufacturing facility
outside Philadelphia.
"We work with tens of thousands of musicians and filmmakers each
year from all over the country. These new offices allow us to meet
more of them in person, explains Tony van Veen, Vice President of
Sales and Marketing for Disc Makers. "They can sit down with
a manufacturing expert right in their hometown and get advice on how
to optimize their CD and DVD project. We have had a great response
from our customers in the other cities where we have locations, and
felt it was time to expand into Chicago and move our Fremont operations
closer to downtown San Francisco."
Chicago was at the top of Disc Makers' list for a brand new location
because of its size and richly diverse music scene. The Windy City
is already the current home to the Midwest Showcase of the Disc Makers'
Independent Music World Series. The Disc Makers office is located
at 562 W. Washington Blvd. (at the corner of Clinton Street). For
more information, go to www.discmakers.com/community/about/chicago.asp,
or contact General Manager Rich Furtner atrfurtner@discmakers.com.
In California, Disc Makers officially made the move from Fremont to
beautiful downtown Berkeley, near the campus of the University of
California at Berkeley. The office is located at 2030 Addison Street
(off Shattuck) across the street from the Berkeley Repertory Theater,
and half a block from the Berkeley BART station. For more information,
