This is Eddie Spock, lead vocalist of the rock band Ballbreaker hailing out of Rochester, N.Y. Ballbreaker was born in the mid-ninties as a tribute to the heavy metal legends, AC/DC. With a commanding stage show and uncanny vocal likeness, Ballbreaker quickly became known as one top tributes in the industry. With this distinction came the opportunity to appear on the internationally distributed AC/DC tribute disc, "Voltage Overload," featuring some of the most notorious AC/DC tribute acts in the world.
With this taste of the recording aspect and a handful of original tunes, Ballbreaker decided it was time to release a dose of our own rock-n-roll. After the recording process was complete we knew we needed a slick looking package to fully complete our first project, and after much research we finally decided on Disc Makers. The finished product that we got back was far beyond our expectations and the superior manufacturing helped obtain very positive write-ups across The United States, Canada, and Europe, as well as having our music appear in advertisements for upcoming games for the NFL's Buffalo Bills.
With all the positive feedback our first project was receiving we decided that we would get to work on a second one and Disc Makers was the unanimous choice to manufacture the new project. Once again, with top-notch manufacturing and customer support we were presented with another stellar project called "Hangman's Tree." This blend of whiskey soaked rock-n-roll and top-of-the-line, professional manufacturing lent itself to many new opportunities for us and helped keep the proverbial ball rolling.
With this new release Ballbreaker has found itself the subject of many magazine articles, webzines, and radio interviews across North and South America, Germany, Sweden, France, Italy, and the U.K., including 2 appearances in the major publication REVOLVER Magazine. Since this release we have also been seen on support of such national acts as Nazareth, Loverboy and Quiet Riot.
Not only has the band been seen on various television appearances but we’ve also had two songs recently featured in the independent film "A Night at the Cat" released by Daydream Productions. The sharp looking package that Disc Makers provided us has also helped in obtaining our distribution deal with Perris Records out of Houston, TX, as well as our artist sponsorship with Coffin Cases out of Los Angeles, California.
So as you can see Ballbreaker has had a great ride so far and Disc Makers has been along every step of the way.
