Basically this is the "Small town boy makes good in the Big City" story. Cool thing is though, it's for real.
My son, Joey Gaydos Jr., was an up and coming guitarist when at the age of 11 we were contacted by a casting agency from New York who had seen my son playing guitar in a video from a musician’s camp called Day Jams.
We drove to their Chicago agency where Joey auditioned for an upcoming film which was looking for a young rock guitarist to be cast.
A month later, the same thing except this time it was the casting agency in New York. Another month goes by and Joey was asked to fly out to Los Angeles to meet with the films producer, director, and lead actor. One week later we received a phone call from L.A., Joey had got the part. The movie was "School of Rock" and the rest as they say was history.
Needless to say when the movie turned out to be a big hit Joey was getting calls to perform. He had been writing songs for his debut CD before and during the filming of the movie, so when it came time to release it, who better than Disc Makers to do the job. I had used your services prior to my son's CD and was very impressed with the quality of your product. His CD is called "Joey Gaydos Jr" and has been doing great.
Hope you like our story. Thanks for the opportunity to share it with you.
