Our story???? I founded o.i.e.Records,Ltd. 4 years ago with nothing but some great Illinois bands. I spent my unemployment checks producing Isaiah Sharkey’s and Backyard Tire Fire's albums. Had them pressed by you, found an investor, worked hard, signed new bands, got major distro, advertised, promoted, worked, worked, worked, signed some major artists like Dave LaRue and Rod Morgenstein (Balance II) and surf guitar legend John Blakeley, and now 27,000 cds later (from you) we're global. Backyard Tire Fire and vonFrickle are now working with world-famous producers, BTF is on a national tour with Clutch and next year you can be sure vonFrickle will be known by prog-heads and guitar geeks everywhere! We were also featured in the Mar. '07 Guitar Player magazine, along with numerous other publications across the globe. Your pricing and quick turnaround time has helped us a lot in our growth. Now if you'll just start pressing vinyl...!?!?!
