ImageStream is a full-service multimedia production company based in West Michigan. Disc duplication is a growing part of our business. Our outside duplicator was having difficulty meeting delivery deadlines, and they were still using sticky labels. It was time for a change.
We did a thorough evaluation of all the robotic duplication systems on the market, and the Elite2 fit our needs and our budget perfectly. We purchased one last fall.
We anticipated a bit of a learning curve in operating the system, but the Elite2 was unreliable. Disc Makers completely stood by their product, and they worked by our side to remedy the situation. Once we determined that it wasn’t a case of ‘operator error,’ Disc Makers shipped us a replacement Elite2 – at their expense. This new unit did everything we expected it to do. In fact, we were so pleased with its performance that we purchased a second Elite2 this spring.
Apparently, the original Elite2 was damaged during shipping.
Our robo’s now have a companion, and when we get them competing on a duplication job, their throughput is impressive.
But not nearly as impressive as Disc Makers customer support.
