What kind of stuff inspires you?
The juxtaposition of elements. For example, I often find myself looking back into history for inspiration. I love the look of Rococo and Victorian art and design. I enjoy blending it with gritty, modern, urban elements.

What makes you you?
Photography, Drawing/Painting, Indie/Horror/Art-House Movies, Music, Reading, Sewing/Costuming, collecting Antiques and Vintage Clothing
What's your favorite album cover?
The cover for "Communication & Conviction" by The Tossers. I love how it appears at once both simple and complex. The imagery is beautiful and really utilizes the negative space well and I like the way it wraps to the back of the insert, drawing the whole piece together. The font choice and size is really nice too, understated, while still retaining power due to it's positioning.
What's the coolest concert you went to?
The greatest concert I've ever been to was Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, back in 2002 at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. It was the last stop on the tour, and the band was really in rare form. They played a bunch of classics and had a lot of fun interacting with each other and the audience as well.
What's your favorite ice cream?
Green tea. |
