Placed on the map with their debut album "Mode to Joy" (Rely Records, 2007), the boys of Glint (Jase Blankfort, Mateus Tebaldi and Dylan Kelehan) are emerging from the surface towards a burgeoning national spotlight.
From humble origins in Boston, (where they recorded "Mode to Joy" in an old adapted firehouse) Glint has climbed steadily over the past two years through their critically acclaimed live performance, which continues to be praised and well received by fans, journalists, and industry veterans alike.
Having sold out shows throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, upstate NY, and Boston (Knitting Factory, The Cutting Room, Lion's Den, Arlene's Grocery, Maxwell's, Trash Bar, Galapagos), the four-piece big-beat rock ensemble is prepping for a busy summer packed with music festivals and television appearances.
In addition to headlining at Central Park (where the band put on their own environmental-friendly 4-20 festival, giving out 420 “free trees” for people to plant), and other future festivals like Lollapalooza Last Band Standing (hand-picked by the Grammy panel as one of five out of 1500+ bands nationwide), Gateway and PA’s Muskifest, Glint can be found bringing their high-energy nocturamas back home to Boston and Vermont for an upcoming New England leg of their seemingly never-ending tour.
You can read up on Glint, among other places, in an upcoming issue of Billboard Magazine, on CBS The Early Show, the July issue of High Times, The Journal News, Indie-music.com, and online at USA4Real.com (where they were chosen as Los Angeles' April featured act). |

UK born pianist, violinist and composer David Shenton has been writing music since the age of 9. His diverse output (of over 200 pieces) includes classical and musical theater works as well as numerous jazz compositions. From 1993 to 1997 David studied at the Royal College of Music in London from where he graduated with highest honors.
After graduating, David's work included orchestrating, arranging and composing at such places as Abbey Road & CTS Studios (London) as well as assisting musically on Hollywood, West End, Broadway & Off-Broadway productions.
In 1998, hearing Oscar Peterson for the first time on the radio inspired David to become a self-taught jazz musician. In December 2006 he was asked to open for Tony Bennett at the St. George Theatre, New York. David has since played at Birdland and other jazz clubs in New York. In April 2007 David was awarded the prestigious Back Stage Bistro Award for 'Best Piano Player/Entertainer' in New York and has since played over 200 gigs in both the USA and Europe.

The Fuzz Haunted is a three-piece experimental rock group from New York City comprised of Randy Lord, Steve Dawson and James Lord. Their sound is built upon strong songs with layered vocal harmonies and sonic textures.
Using diverse instruments including loud guitars, accordions, singing saws and a church organ along with an arsenal of effects, the band creates a dynamic atmosphere of music and sound.
Demonstrating their well-honed skills as producers and musicians, their self-titled debut CD was written, performed and recorded by Steve Dawson and Randy Lord. Their songs breathe and grow in their own creativity, allowing each listen to reveal something new. The result is a sound that stands on its own, and a collection of music that defies simple categorization.
In April 2006, NPR’s All Songs Considered featured The Fuzz Haunted and honored the band by choosing the opening track “Tiger Balm” for the program’s very first podcast. |

Object mixes many influences from classical to modern, but is most often compared to 90's alternative music. Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Deftones, Failure, Foo Fighters, Melvins, Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Jeff Buckley, PJ Harvey and countless others are all major influences on Object's sound, but the result is unique and refreshingly current.
Eric and Maria met at NYU where they bonded over sympathetic vibrations and earth tones. Within the confines of this institution, they jammed late into the night, provoking school security and ultimately getting kicked out of the building by uniformed agents wielding nightsticks. When at last able to snag some time in the music technology department’s finest multi-track studio, Eric and Maria documented their initial compositions with several DAT tapes, piles of session files and various poems. Soon the duo found themselves with a name, an “Indie” recording full of phase problems, and a mutual fascination with their emerging 'rock band.’ Two CDs and two bass players later, Eric and Maria found themselves back in their natural state, as a duo, and decided to continue this way. Compensating with effects and more intricate playing, Object found this lineup elicited more of a positive response than ever, and has been forging ahead with a universally revered originality. |
