Jaded EraSince forming in Cuyahoga Falls, OH eight years ago with all four members in the 7th grade, Jaded Era has gone from playing their own elementary school dances to selling out venues, and accomplishing more in their teens than many artists twice their age ever achieve. Recently being awarded Cleveland's Best Rock Group for the 3rd year in a row, this innovative female-fronted band continues to exceed any standards set for rock & roll. They've released 3 full-length albums, selling thousands of records on their own; all while developing the most dramatic and anticipated live show in town. The band has been touring diligently across the US for many years, performing from the Los Angeles Viper Room to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. They've shared the stage with Maroon 5, Sugar Ray, Alanis, Todd Rundgren and Sponge, to name a few. The true dedication that Kira, Jeff, Eric, and Marco have for their music and each other is unheard of in today's music world. With life-long friendships, one-of-a-kind performance, and years of song-writing experience, JE thrives on putting heart and soul back into Rock & Roll.

Jaded Era is continuing a massive buzz from their 2nd album (Invisible) with their brand new record Study of the Human Race. The title track from their "Invisible" record has been in regular rotation on Cleveland's largest rock station WMMS, which is unheard of for a local band in their area. Gaining an industry buzz isn't easy from a small town in Ohio, but they are showcase veterans and have attracted the likes of Ron Fair & Jimmy Iovine of A&M and Interscope Records, among many others.

Tim Patalan (Sponge, The Fags, Lovedrug, Peter Searcy) mixed and produced Invisible, JE's follow-up to 2001's Laugh at the World, as well as many tracks on the new Study of the Human Race record. Over their 8-year journey thus far, JE has matured into one of the area's most promising young bands. Combining the jaw-dropping, come-hither vocals of lead singer Kira Leyden with the driving energy of the band (Jeff Andrea on guitar, Marco Hilj on bass and Eric Ortopan on drums), Jaded Era draws from influences such as Pearl Jam, U2, The Pretenders, The Kinks, Queen, and No Doubt while still maintaining an image and sound completely their own.

With a brand new album and live DVD under their belt, Jaded Era hopes to add to their rapidly growing fan base while touring the Midwest and beyond. How far beyond remains to be seen, but already critics are touting Jaded Era as "the next pop-rock phenomenon" and their new CD to be "a hit-in-waiting."
