 The husband and wife duo ZunZun have been touring since 1992 in 14 countries for over 100,000 people a year. They perform on over twenty five instruments, many of which are features in their live performances. They perform both as a latin fusion band and as an environmentally focused band at over 200 venues a year, from the Disney Concert hall to public schools and everywhere in between. They have produced 5 recordings and their latest recording "Hammock Songs" a collection of eclectic acoustic pop tunes, will be released in 2005. This recording features very unique and intricate songs with interesting rhythms, non traditional instrumentation (10 stinged charango, South American kena and zampona flute, Brazilian pandiero) and beautiful harmonies and lyrics which celebrate rather than brood. "We play music for our own happiness and hope that this translates to our audience." Their live performances are very upbeat and energetic and they have won numerous music awards (BRAVO channels "Arts For Change Award" Children's Music Web Award). ZunZuns goal is to make their music available to a much larger audience, and to continue performing until their two old to pick up their instruments.
