Based in Atlanta Georgia, the ISSUES are a three-piece, hard pop/rock band. The bands influences include Green Day, Butch Walker, Iggy Pop & Lit. Founded in 2002, the ISSUES have earned a reputation for their bombastic live performances and well-received song writing abilities - the result of hundreds of shows and a sincere desire to become career recording artists.

In April, 2007 the ISSUES released their new EP, “Alien Tattooed Lover.” The band worked with producer John Briglevich (Sevendust, Bowling for Soup, Butch Walker, Outcast, Edwin McCain & Third Day) at his Sonica Studios in Atlanta, GA.

In June, 2007 The ISSUES launched a four-month, national record promotion for their new EP "Alien Tattooed Lover." The band has hired record promoter Randy Sadd at Protocol Entertainment to spearhead the campaign. Randy has worked records for numerous acts including: Butch Walker, Shawn Mullins, Josh Joplin, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Rehab, Cowboy Mouth & the Outfield.

Response for the EP has been very positive. The band continues to be added to the playlists of Rock & Alt Rock radio stations nationwide. Notable ISSUES accomplishments include: featured band on XM’s Radar Report, Top 500 in Billboard Magazine’s Annual Song Writing Contest, licensed music for TV, film and national advertising, featured band in No Cover magazine – a national music and action sports magazine available thru Barnes & Noble and other retail outlets.

In August, 2007 the ISSUES were selected as one of six regional finalists for the Disc Makers Independent Music World Series – a music industry showcase highlighting up and coming artists and bands. Disc Makers and Editors of Billboard Magazine selected the ISSUES from 1300 entries to be included in the industry showcase at 3rd & Lindsley in  Nashville, TN on September 20th, 2007.
