Ask anyone who has ever heard a J.Peele song what their first impression was and you are likely to hear the same response: unlike anything that I have ever heard!

A native of Irvington, New Jersey, J.Peele began singing at the age of ten. Inspired by singing, songwriting and producing artists such as the legendary Sam Cooke and R. Kelly, J.Peele sought to become the first young artist to soulfully blend hip-hop and classic soul, and he has succeeded.

It was not until he was nineteen years old that audiences were first introduced to J.Peele, after he performed on the Queen Latifah Show. He soon gained further notoriety during his stint as an intern at Greensboro, North Carolina’s popular radio station, 102 Jams. The station played one of J.Peele’s songs and the radio station’s phone lines beamed with requests and inquiries about the upcoming R&B star. Afterwards, J.Peele was the opening act for North Carolina’s Summer Jam, a concert that featured many of hip-hop and R&B’s reigning acts.

Today, J.Peele’s soulful, classic, and unique voice can be heard on many projects. He was featured on Big Wheels by FUBU Entertainment artists 54th Platoon, and his moving ballad Bad Men, Good Guys can be heard on the soundtrack to the feature film Pandora’s Box, starring Michael Jai White and Tyson Beckford.

J.Peele’s latest endeavors include promoting his debut album by touring.  In addition to opening a six-week tour with Dwele and Slum Village, he also performed for a crowd of 30,000 as an opening act for 50 Cent.  Other performances and highlights include:  The Wing Festival, The Trumpet awards, Pandora's Box Soundtrack, Cold Blooded Soundtrack, Pantene Total You Tour and an upcoming feature in Grip Magazine.  J Peele has now become a national artist, rocking crowds from California to Georgia.

J.Peele’s first album is an independent release via Soul Factory. If the nearly 100,000 visitors to JPEELEONLINE.COM or the multitude of fans from New York to North Carolina is any indication of what to expect, then music fans can finally rejoice, because J.Peele will finally give listeners an album that can be listened to from beginning to end.
