Raised on the East Coast and settled in the California wine country, Kate Van Horn is the daughter of a choir director, accomplished architect, and wood sculptor, and is one of seven offspring. Kate was always singing as a child and she began playing piano as soon as she could reach the keys. After experimenting with several string and wood instruments and performing in musical and stage roles, she found her true passion was crafting songs at her piano.
Today, she is enchanting audiences in Northern California and beyond with her band: Vic Carberry – drummer, Jeff Martin – bassist, and Roxanne Oliva – accordionist/multi-instrumentalist. |
