To enter online via Sonicbids you'll need: 1. Three original songs in MP3 format. 2. A valid credit card to charge the entry fee. Sonicbids members - $25 Non-members - $29.95 3. Mail in your completed Entry Form, a CD with at least three original songs, and a $25 check or money order made out to “Disc Makers.” * At this time, we are not mailing Entry Forms in response to registrations. With the deadline so close, we cannot guarantee the Entry Form will arrive in time for you to submit in time. Please contact us if you have a problem downloading and printing your Entry Form.
Each IMWS entry is judged on Songwriting, Overall Vibe, Musical Performance, Vocal/Lead Instrument Performance, and Originality. TAXI performs the initial screening and selects 100 semi-finalists for each region (West, Southwest, Southeast, and Northeast). Editors at Billboard screen the semi-finalists to choose six acts to play each showcase. 24 acts will showcase in all.   The deadline for all submissions is Wednesday, May 21, 2008.
