Submitting your order.
What to send.
Once you’re ready to place your order, here’s what we need you to send us:

1. Signed quotation document. Check your quote carefully and verify that it is correct before sending it in. If the quote is incorrect, please call your product specialist to get an accurate quote before sending in your order. If you’re including your credit card number, please indicate the amount you want Disc Makers to charge on the card.

2. Your content master. Make sure your master sounds or functions exactly the way you want it to before submitting it to Disc Makers. The finished discs you get back from us will be an exact match of the master you send us (unless you’re also ordering post production or authoring). Please make sure your master is labeled with your name and contact information.

3. Your graphics materials. If you supply your graphics files (on Quark, etc.) on a CD-R, be sure to enclose a physical printout of what the design will look like. If Disc Makers’ Design Studio is doing the design, be sure to enclose your photos, transparencies, and images, and include your text on disc if possible. Also, any additional design guidelines, instructions, or examples of other designs you like will be helpful.

4. Track listing form (for audio). Let us know the song sequence and length of each song.

5. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) documentation. We need to know that you own the rights to reproduce the product you’re ordering. Without a completed IPR form we cannot start your order. If you have questions about filling out the form, click here or call your product specialist.

6. Your payment. We hate to state the obvious, but we can’t start your project without payment. Depending on what you’re ordering we’ll require a 50% deposit or prepayment in full. Your product specialist will let you know. If paying by check or money order, please include it with your order. If you’d rather pay by credit card instead, feel free to write the credit card number, expiration date, name on the card, and your credit card billing address in the proper fields on the quotation form we sent you. Please let us know if, per your product specialist’s instructions, we should charge 50% or 100% of the order on your card, and don’t forget to sign the quotation document. We are pleased to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Warning: if any of these parts are missing, your order can get delayed.

Downloadable forms
Don’t have all the necessary forms to send in your order? Download our IPR forms and other documents here.

Cover sheet
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) form – this is the main form which informs us that you own the copyrights or license. Orders without this form cannot be processed.
Audio Manufacturing Agreement form - if the rights to any recording on your master belong to a third party, you must also submit a completed Audio Manufacturing Agreement or a contract authorizing you to reproduce the recording.

How to send it.
Most customers send in their orders via UPS, FedEx, or some other courier. We do not recommend using regular mail, because you will not be able to track your shipment to us. Follow these steps when you send in your order and you’ll minimize the risk of your master or art being damaged in shipping.
• Make sure to carefully package the materials you send us. If you’re sending in original artwork or photos, separate them from your audio or content master with cardboard. The master can damage your photos beyond repair.
• To prevent damage to your artwork, do not staple, fold, tape, or paperclip your photo or artwork together.
• Pack your materials in a secure, padded mailing envelope or box. If you’re close to one of our six locations, you can place your order in person.
• Always keep a backup of any master or artwork you submit. Disc Makers is not responsible for masters or original art. Even the best packaged materials can be damaged in shipping.
