What’s an Enhanced CD?
An Enhanced CD is an audio CD that includes CD-ROM data such as video, photos, web links, and more. Audio CDs have 78 minutes of available space, but most recordings only contain about 60 minutes of music. An Enhanced CD (E-CD) uses this leftover space to include additional data. In an audio player, an E-CD simply plays music. But on a PC or Mac, it launches the additional content.

| DETAILS: Your audio CD must have at least 5 minutes of available space for Enhanced CD data. Add 5-7 business days. Turn times are not guaranteed. $490 Enhanced CD packages and options are available with any Disc Makers CD replication package (minimum 300 discs). For Enhanced CD authoring services without CD replication, add $250. Accepted videotape formats: Digital Beta, Beta, BetaCam, BetaSP (both sizes), MiniDV, DVCam, SVHS, and VHS. Video files can be submitted as MOV, AVI, and MPEG-1 (Uncompressed MOV and AVI will allow us to convert to MPEG-1). 3/4", 1", D-2, and D-1 formats can be submitted but cost $75 for up to 10 minutes and $1 per minute after the initial 10. Audio can be submitted as .wav files, .aiff files, or CD audio. |
