Our 4-panel eco-wallets come with a choice of a narrow printable spine, or no spine.
The printable spine is often preferred for retail sales, and customers and DJs like a legible spine on a CD when it’s filed in a rack or on the shelf. (Important note: if you choose a spine, it’s only 1/8” wide, so your title info will be tiny, and may be ever so slightly off-center due to the extremely close printing and folding tolerances. Printed spines cost 10¢ extra per unit because they have to be folded by hand.)
Eco-wallets for direct mail or corporate uses are usually manufactured without a spine. When doing your own design, please be careful to download the correct template for an eco-wallet with spine, or one with no spine.
CAUTION: Spines may flatten.
If you choose an eco-wallet with narrow spine you may notice when you receive your shipment that the spines are slightly flattened. This is part of the packaging process, and because we try to optimize the number of eco-wallets in each carton for maximum shipping efficiency, spines will often get flattened. This is not a defect. All wallets, including those released by major labels, ship this way. The music fan who ends up buying the product can easily straighten the spine after they remove the poly wrap.

About Our Production Times
We quote our production times from the moment you approve your proofs. They do not include the pre-approval process of prepping your art files and/or master, nor the time it takes for you to approve your proofs. The pre-approval process can range from 2 to 7 days, depending on the package you order (but it's usually 3 days; feel free to ask your product specialist about your package).
If you are buying a 10-day production time, what that actually means is:
• 4 business days of pre-approval time – which is typical for most jobs.
• And 10 business days of production time after you approve your proofs.
• Your total turn time is really 14 business days.
For a 5-day production time:
• 3 days of pre-approval time, plus 5 days of production time; total turn time is 8 business days.
