Gracenote CD Database Registration

Do you ever notice how some CDs display the songs, album title, and artist info when you play them on your computer’s CD player, while others don’t list anything? In order for the player to recognize and display the album info, the album needs to be registered online. The largest of these online databases is Gracenote CD Data Base.

Once your CD is completed, we’ll register your CD with Gracenote CD Data Base, so your name, album title, and track titles will automatically display on most players when your fans pop your CD in their computer (as long as their computer has an active online connection). iTunes uses Gracenote to collect track and artist info, as does Yahoo! Music Jukebox, and AOL Winamp.

Please note: Not all players use Gracenote CD Data Base, the most notable being Windows Media Player. Learn more about Gracenote and the services they provide at http://www.gracenote.com/.

AllMusic.com Submission

We will send one copy of your CD to AllMusic, the encyclopedic music site (http://www.allmusic.com). AllMusic attempts to list every album released, and will enter your information into their database. Once your music is in the AllMusic database, your song and album information will display when your CD is played on Windows Media Player on an internet-connected PC.
