Plastic Cases
There are two basic types of clear cases: kickout-boxes and circle and c-shell
cases. Made from flexible plastic, circle and c-shell cases are both one-piece
cases that open like a clamshell. The disc is held by its center hole, much
like in jewel cases. The c-shell case has a flat edge on the spine, whereas
the circle case has no flat edge.
Kick-out boxes are one-piece cases, made of firm plastic. The are similar
to a mini record sleeve, in that the disc slides in and out an opening in
the side. Their distinguishing feature is a lever that pushes the disc out
of the case. |
