Plastic Cases
There are two basic types of clear cases: kickout-boxes and c-shell
cases. Made from flexible plastic, c-shell cases are one-piece
cases that open like a clamshell with a flat edge on the spine. The disc is held by its center hole, much
like in jewel cases.
Kick-out boxes are one-piece cases, made of firm plastic. The are similar
to a mini record sleeve, in that the disc slides in and out an opening in
the side. Their distinguishing feature is a lever that pushes the disc out
of the case. |
