How We Print

CD Templates and DVD Templates

VERY IMPORTANT: Our CD and DVD templates are available in the following software: Adobe Illustrator (versions 8 - CS4), Adobe InDesign (versions 2 - CS4), Macromedia/Adobe FreeHand (versions 7-11/MX), CorelDRAW (versions 8 - X4), QuarkXPress (versions 3.3 - 8). Our CD templates and DVD templates are saved back to the oldest version we support. However, please be sure that you are saving your documents in the version you're actually using (for example, if you are working in Illustrator 10 do NOT save back to Illustrator 8 just because that is how the template is saved)! Jobs not in our templates take longer for us to check, and are therefore assessed a $75 out of template fee. If you have any concerns about our templates, please contact your product specialist.

If you are doing a Short-run Duplication project, you will need to use the Short-run templates only. Click here to learn more and download the Short-run Duplication templates.

For most packages, you’ll want to download the following:

	Templates for the main package (jacket, jewel case, digipak, etc.). Packages other than jewel cases (jackets, wallets, digipaks, DVD cases, etc.) will be a single document. Jewel case templates come in two parts: one for the booklet or insert, and one for the tray card. If you’re using a clear tray, you’ll also want the tray card backprinting template.
	Templates for printing on the disc itself.
	Templates for any promotional items you’re ordering, such as posters or postcards.
	The Disc Makers logo font, a dingbat-type font that contains the Compact Disc logo, the DVD logo, registration marks, and other graphics you might need.
